I had the pleasure of spending a day in Florida with Swapomthi and Neeraj (and his parents), hanging out, getting to know each other and taking some gorgeous Engagement Photos in and around St. Petersburg and Tampa. We had a full day of shooting and fun, interspersed with amazing South Indian food that Neeraj’s mom cooked and coffee with Neeraj’s dad!
We had a blast, right from the time Neeraj picked me up from the airport in his Prius; to finding chairs/lifts for Swapomthi at the Hindu Temple; the amazing natural beauty of the Sunken Gardens; to our misadventures at the super windy beach; standing in the middle of the street for photos; jumping in-front of fountains; battling downtown Tampa traffic; parking in no-parking-zones for photos atop trees; rushing to get me back to the airport! This was an action packed adventure.
It really didn’t feel like I had just met y’all for the first time, and when I left, it really didn’t feel like just a day in Florida. Felt more like a fun weekend spent with friends and family! We captured a lot of wonderful memories, had tons of fun and Neeraj’s SMS made me smile ear to ear – he texted “It feels like you are part of the family! Can’t wait to see you in June!” I can’t wait to see the two of you and your family either! And photograph your amazing journey!
